Robert "Bob" Eric Schmitter

Robert "Bob" Eric Schmitter, 69, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home with his daughters on March 4, 2023.

Bob was born on March 24, 1953, in Logan, Ohio, to Robert Edward Schmitter and Janice Kraft Schmitter.

Bob was an excellent contractor with an eye for detail. Bob built and worked on many homes and businesses for his community and beyond. Bob was an avid gardener. He raised chickens and delivered eggs on Sundays for many years. Bob loved to mow and maintain his property for all to enjoy. Aside from his daughters, he loved nothing more than to indulge in an ice-cold Blatz. 

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his mother, Janice; two daughters, Emma Wright and her husband, Keith of Albany, Ohio, Karly White and her husband, Casey of Rushsylvania, Ohio; two grandchildren, Owen and Eliza White; five siblings, Cheryl (Kelley) Stilwell, Mark Schmitter, Lisa Schmitter, Kurt (Carla) Schmitter, and David Schmitter, and thirteen nieces and nephews.

His daughters would like to thank Fairhope Hospice and the many people who cared for him.

No services will be held at Bob's request, and cremation will be observed.  Bob was generous, always willing to help those he cared about. Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate his life by paying it forward and helping someone in need.
