Robert “Rob” Lee Naylor Jr., age 50 of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Born August 19, 1971 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Robert Lee Naylor Sr. of Logan, Ohio and the late Mary Ann (Woods) Naylor (2006).
Rob was an Infrastructure Engineer Principal for American Electric Power in Columbus, Ohio with 23 years of service. He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast. He was a hands-on individual who greatly enjoyed doing all of his own household repairs or renovations. Rob enjoyed refurbishing and upgrading computers in his spare time. Throughout the years, Rob has been a member of vintage car, motorcycle, and computer clubs.
Besides his father, Rob is survived by one sister, Rebecca Ann (William) O’Brien of Gahanna, Ohio; longtime companion Angela (Adkins) Ronay and her son Luke; nephews and niece, Wyatt, Molly, Conner, and Cooper O’Brien; aunts and uncle, Howard Dewayne and Jeannie Naylor and Jane Bittle.
Besides his mom, Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Mae Naylor, and grandparents Carl and Emma Lou Woods; aunt, Jean "GeGe" Naylor-Long; and uncle, Theron Bittle.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home – Logan, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM, following visitation, with Joshua N. Martin officiating.
A graveside service and burial will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Clendenin Memorial Gardens, Clendenin, West Virginia.
