Rodney Lee Krannitz

Rodney Lee Krannitz, 51of Laurelville, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 14th, 2021 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born November 14th, 1969 in Logan, Ohio he was the son of Carmita “Diane” (Dennis) Krannitz of Logan, Ohio and the late Richard Rolland Krannitz.

Rodney was a laborer in the field of construction and had worked for Smead Manufacturing Company for nine years. Rodney was a 1988 graduate of Logan High School where he was a member of the first Logan High School football team to participate in a state championship.

Besides his mother, Rodney is survived by two sons, Aren Richard Krannitz of Columbus, Ohio and Joshua Lee Krannitz of Parkersburg, West Virginia; one sister, Misty Dawn (Aaron) Krannitz-McDaniel of Logan, Ohio; and his girlfriend Mary Jo Dearing of Laurelville, Ohio; several nieces; several aunts and an uncle; and his beloved dogs Axl and Rose.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 21st at Roberts Funeral Home with Deacon Donald A. Robers officiating. Friends may call from 11 until time of service on Friday.

Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
