Sharon Kay Bailey, aged 82 of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Embassy of Logan, Ohio.
Born October 27, 1943 in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Virginia R. (Stevens) Poling.
Sharon was a 1961 graduate of Lancaster High School and retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster, Ohio following 20 years of service. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles and Amvets in Logan, Ohio. Sharon enjoyed making candy and her homemade buckeyes were a holiday favorite of her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Samuel K. Bailey; two sons, Anthony (Jennifer) Macioci of Yorktown, Virginia and Shawn (Lori) Bailey of New Plymouth, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Robbin (Bradley) Bailey-Mesaros, Seth (Ashlyn) Duke, Samuel E. Bailey, Immanuel (Olivia) Davis, Sydney Hammack, Isaac Davis, and Josh Gortney; five great-grandchildren, Robert, Brantley, Ryder, Grace, Immanuel Jr., and one on-the-way; brother, Timothy (Bev) Poling of New Lexington, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Robert Macioci Jr. and brothers, Charles and Bill Poling.
