Stanton Foster “Balu” Terry, 70 of Bremen, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Born July 1, 1951 in Randolph, Vermont, he was the son of the late Wilmuth Rye and Elizabeth Nelle (Stanton) Terry.
Stanton worked in the packing maintenance department at the Treehouse Cereal Plant in Lancaster, Ohio for 46 years. He was a member of the Lancaster United Brethren Church. Stanton belonged to the Olivedale of Senior Citizens of Fairfield County and the Scenic Hills Senior Center in Logan, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Marie (Saving) Terry; two sons, Allen F. Terry and William F. Terry both of Bremen, Ohio; one brother, Rick and Virginia Terry of Cutler, Ohio; two sisters, Susie Terry of Cutler, Ohio and Pam and Greg Wright of Kettering, Ohio; brother-in-law, Ron Barcomb of Rome, Georgia; good friends, Miranda Dotson of Haydenville, Ohio, Donna Voris of Laurelville, Ohio, and Doug and Melis Daubenmire of Lancaster, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Stanton was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Terry and Mary Barcomb.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Lancaster United Brethren Church- 1125 Pleasantville Road, Lancaster, Ohio with Rev. Greg Voight officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be given at the church to SASS Scholarship Fund or the Fairfield County Humane Society.
