Susette (Scribner) Mace

Susette Mace, aged 75 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 1, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born July 4, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Alvin and Phyliss (Fannin) Scribner.

Susette was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and had worked for the Ohio Department of Health in Columbus, Ohio, Adult Career Center in Nelsonville, Ohio and Healthcare Management Solutions of West Virginia. She loved the water, including living by Lake Logan, kayaking, and traveling to the ocean with her family.

Susette is survived by her loving husband, Richard D. Mace; son, Craig A. (Tracy) Wolfe of McArthur, Ohio; two daughters, Kimberly D. (Tony) Conrad of Logan and Shannon (Brian) Mace-Call of Nelsonville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph (Vicki) Scribner of Albany, Ohio and Leroy (Gail) Scribner of Logan, Ohio; sister, Sharon (Larry) Foss of Logan, Ohio; and special friends, Ruth Ann Dear, Margie Layne, Betsy DeWitt, Debra Price and Jane Green.

Besides her parents, Susette was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Scribner; brother, Steve Scribner; nieces, Sarah and Cindy; nephew, Vincent; and great-niece, Jaden.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, Ohio, officiated by Vicki Edwards-Scribner.

Burial will follow in Elk Cemetery in McArthur, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
