Suzan Marie (Green) Travis

Suzan Marie (Green) Travis, aged 79 of Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Born May 6, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Esta Louise (Gray) Green. She was a 1964 graduate of Logan High School.

During life, Suzan worked for Lucent Technologies before retiring. She was a proud member of New Hope Congregational Methodist Church in Logan, Ohio. She was also a member of Logan Moose Lodge 873 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2168. Suzan was an artist at heart and had a great passion for crafting, sewing, and quilting which she showcased as a member of the Country Roads Quilt Guild. As the matriarch of her family, Suzan lovingly gifted beautiful quilts to each of her family members that were very greatly appreciated.

Suzan is survived by her loving husband, Steve Travis; daughter, Deneise Deanne (Monte) Denney-Addison; sons, Steve Travis Jr. and Matt Travis; multiple beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Linda) Green of Logan, Ohio, Harold (Carole) Green of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, and Barry (Brenda) Green of Logan, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Kenny Guess of Logan, Ohio, Paul (Sharon) Travis of Lancaster, Ohio, and Mark (Linda) Travis of Springhill, Florida; sister-in-law, Pam Travis of Brooksville, Florida; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Suzan was preceded in death by her sisters, Carol Guess and Betsy Lucas.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Todd Smith will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 1 PM until time of service at the funeral home on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
