Darci Jo Travis, sister Jody Case Robinson, and brother William F. “Bill” Case whose deaths preceded her. Sue is survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and six nieces.
Born July 1, 1925, Sue attended Ohio Wesleyan and Ohio State University, majoring in Business Administration. She met Paul while attending Ohio State and they married on December 30, 1946 in a double wedding with Sue’s sister, Jody, and her fiancé Robby Robinson. Upon Jody and Robby’s return to Logan in the 1980’s, the two couples were often seen playing golf, traveling on Senior Center outings, and attending Immanuel Methodist Church together.
For many years Sue assisted her husband at Case’s Drug Store, which was established by her father, Joe S. Case in 1932. Sue volunteered, along with Jody, at The Bowen House and Hocking Hills Regional Welcome
Center. She also served on the Logan-Hocking Library Board and Hocking County MRDD Board. Sue was a past member of Nonescript Club, Saturday Club, Junior Tourist Book Club, and Order of Eastern Star Venus Chapter #76. She also served as Trustee of Fiek Estate. Her lifelong passion was involvement in local children’s events. In later years you could find her playing bridge every Monday at Home Tavern with her friends of over twenty years.
Sue’s vivacious personality, love of life, and generous spirit will long be remembered. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Scenic Hills Senior Center or Hocking Hills United Methodist Church, with a note that the contribution is in honor of Sue Stivision.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Pastor Charlene Mitchell officiating.
