Tyler Woodrow Blackston

Tyler Woodrow Blackston, age 34 of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his residence.

Born November 29, 1987 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of Ervin Vaughn and Jennifer Lynn (Ahle) Blackston of Logan.

Tyler graduated from both Logan High School and Tri-County Joint Vocational School in Ag Mechanics.  In school, he was very active in both 4H and FFA.  Tyler was employed at Mid-State Tire in Lancaster, Ohio.  In his spare time, he enjoyed his farm, loved International Harvester tractors and working on remodeling the farmhouse he lived in.

Besides his parents, Tyler is survived by two brothers, Brandon Blackston of Stewart and Joel (Britney) Blackston of Nelsonville.

Tyler will be greatly missed by “Mimi”, his beloved Saint Bernard, who was by his side until his very last day.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Vaughn Blackston and infant sister, Breanna Mary Blackston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
