Virginia "Jenny" Elma Lee Manning

Virginia “Jenny” Elma Lee Manning, age 73 of Logan, Ohio, formally of Grove City, Ohio passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence.

Born July 26, in 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Emlon and Martha Jean (Adkins) Manning.

Jenny had been a clerical worker for The State of Ohio Department of Drug and Addiction Service. She loved being a ticket clerk while selling tickets at numerous horse racetracks in various states of the country.

Although Jenny never had children of her own, she was known as a mother to all.

Jenny is survived by relatives April M. (Chet) Lowther, John & Louise Moore, Jo Williams, Lisa Stepp, J.J. Raver, Anna & Kaylee Allen, Tyler & Caitlin Williams, Cory & Kerstin Williams, Jessica Woods and many nieces & nephews.

Besides her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Manning Moore.

A memorial service will be held at the Ebenezer Baptist Church at 2:00PM Saturday, August 28, 2021 with Pastor Stephen R. Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Luckenbach, Texas with Waylon & Willie & The Boys and out to sea.
