William “Ben” Brown, aged 61 of Lancaster, Ohio, formerly of Logan, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Lancaster.
Born September 4, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of the late William Bryan and Helen Faye (Boone) Brown.
Ben was a Logan High school graduate. He was a Specialist E-4 in the Army Defense Military Branch and served during Desert Storm. Ben enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by two brothers, Sergeant First Class Jack Creighton Brown US Army retired and Joe Bryan (Shellee) Brown both of Lancaster; sisters, Juanita Faye (Mark) Brandon and Patricia Lorene (Elmer) Brumfield both of Lancaster; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. .
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with a military service conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard preceding.
Friends may call Friday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Ben’s memory may be made to Roberts Funeral Home, 60 W. Hunter St., PO Box 481, Logan, Ohio 43138 to help defray funeral costs.
